The AMC Squad is an epic story-driven FPS running on the Build Engine. It combines gameplay mechanics of retro-shooters with aspects of modern titles, complete with a story-driven narrative that spans over several episodes. Each episode is a full-length campaign featuring multiple varied locations to explore and many hidden secrets and collectibles to discover. Experience an overarching story that is loosely based on the worlds and settings of other classic Build Engine games. Pick from more than 8 different character classes, each with a unique loadout of items, weapons and abilities, and fight a large selection of different enemy factions that threaten the safety of the game world.

AMC TC Episode 3 Teaser Trailer

by Loke

Just a small heads up, development is going well and Loke has treated you all to a small teaser trailer! There's nothing too spoilerly inside so be sure to check it out and give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it :)

As always, if you're interesting in contributing to the TC's development (mapping, spritework, voice acting, music .etc) by all means give me a shout by sending me a message.

Wow!!! I really LOVE all these new textures and npc caracters!
It's clear that you guys have been working very hard on this, as always!
Keep it up,

Leon

I do wonder though why you keep this as a mod and not go in to indie development. I am quit sure there will be people who will pay for this. Does it have to do with you using Eduke32 and not the buildengine?

You can't sell anything related to Build wihtout a long string of royalties and permission. That and a million tons of resources from other sources, which I would get shot if I attempted to sell (not that I would ever ask for money in any form for this anyway)

In the far far future after AMC TC is done I probably would look into some form of actual professional development and make my own game but it would be dramatically smaller in scope than a FPS like this. I'll have to see when I get there :)

Looks like a lot of TLC (tender loving care) is going into this project.

As for commercial prospects, go for it. Games don't have to be AAA. As long as they can be played, it's a game in my books.
