That Which Sleeps is a turn based strategy game in which the player takes on the role of an awakened evil from the world's past and must manipulate a living, reactive world from the shadows using a variety of corrupted agents as well as what armies he can muster to his cause. Players must balance an aggressive approach utilizing his considerable powers with the need for secrecy - heroes are constantly examining clues left behind by the actions of the old one and eagerly hunting the player's agents. As the time comes to herald your return, the Chosen One will lead what remains of the world to stop you - will you be ready?

200% Funded in Under a Week

What a hectic week - we have reached 200% Funding and smashed through two stretch goals in a fairly short span. What seemed like a fairly long road to Procedural Generation now looks feasible. Many thanks to all the people that reached out and spread the word to other forums and publications, all those re-tweeting, all those sharing on Facebook - we've come far and we have a ways yet to go.

Take a look at our sneak peek of Gods and Religions - we managed to put some of the old system directly into our latest build to give everyone a sample of what's in store. These GUIs clearly need a little work, but the ability to have the Faiths at war, usurp a God's religion, absorb the portfolio of a weakened deity, and watch Priests invoke powerful miracles are all functionality that will be built right into the core.

Like all of our stretch goals, you can disable or limit these features through the Game Modes.

Thanks again for everyone's support, the dark is coming and it has your name on it.

It is a really good idea to give users the option to disable stretch goals features. Congratulations!
