One of the coolest new features in the E3 demo build we released this week is the ability to save any vehicle you've created and then share it for other people to use in game.
Instead of traditional save files, our coding ninja, Russ, has created a system that lets you save your creations as images that have the vehicle data embedded in the file. What this means is that anyone else with a build of the game can load up your vehicle and give it a test drive if you send it to them.
It's super simple:
- Click the button in the bottom left of the screen while you're playing the game, to take a screenshot. This image will automatically save into the game folder on your PC.
- Send that screenshot image to whoever you want to share your vehicle with, via email, Twitter or any other electronic means.
- Get them to copy & paste the image into the game folder on their PC.
- Get them to run their copy of the game and load your vehicle from the pause menu.
- Voila!
Make sure you also share your creations with us at info@terratechgame.com so we can try them out too! We'll share some of the best ones on our website and social channels.
