Peek behind the curtain as we film the TerraTech Kickstarter video on location in London.

Posted by on

Later this week we will finally announce the start date for the TerraTech Kickstarter campaign! We need your help to make the full version of this game happen and we can't wait to share our plans with you in more detail. Until then, enjoy this little look behind the scenes of what happened when we filmed our promotional video for the campaign in London earlier this week.

Filming started in our small office, located in Hammersmith. This is where Russ, Kris and Sai Wun work on the code and design of TerraTech.

From there, it was off to the next location down by the River Thames. It was a rather hot day, so it was a bit sweaty on the Underground! Jolyon Webb, our Art Director, is normally based in Leamington Spa, but he came down to London to take part in the video shoot. He looks like he's enjoying the public transport a bit too much!

Then it was time to play with fancy cameras in the sunshine.

After filming by the river, we headed off to Loading Bar, a hugely popular venue with London's gamers and a great place to grab a delicious beverage while getting your game on! Massive thanks to guys there for letting us use the venue.

Of course, when it comes to doing these things on an indie budget, things are never simple! Jolyon had to be roped into taking on the role of 'lighting stand' at Loading Bar.

And finally, we'll let you decide what's going on with Sai Wun's glowing... erm... area... in this photo!

Look out for some more details about our Kickstarter campaign later this week!

It's alright to update often, but you are overdoing it. I want to get game updates and that's it. Stay in memory by memorable updates, I'd say.
