It is with great excitement that I announce the first alpha release of Tank Revolution! Although this game has far to go before the final release, you should be able to derive much enjoyment from it even now. This first alpha release includes 9 levels with a total of 10 different menacing enemy types. I want everyone to have the opportunity to experience each enemy, so I have also included a very unorthodox "cheat" button which instantly gives you 5 extra lives. I recommend enjoying it now because it is unlikely to survive past this version! You can see a play-through of all the current levels in the video below.
Now that you've seen what has been done so far, I'm going to share my vision of the final release. I plan to create a more complex level structure with individual worlds to clear, each possessing it's own theme and introducing new enemies. I also plan to create an endless mode with randomly generated enemies and online leader boards. I would also be interested in creating more unique and interesting enemy types. If you have a suggestion for a type of enemy tank you want to see, I'd love to hear it!
