Here's an early concept of how a Djakk monster will give chase, and one of the ways it can be defeated. Missing from the video is the Djakk's bite animation, but only because we're not quite ready to show off Nymn's death animation!
Our aim is to make these chase sections last for quite a while. A Djakk would hunt Nymn for as far as possible, trying to snatch him at every available opportunity. This might last a whole act of a level, perhaps longer. Nymn would need to use all of his cunning, tricks and traps to escape and eventually kill the beast.
