Tainted Fate

Tainted Fate is a horror adventure game with original gameplay features.
Played in first person, it immerses you into a dynamic story that depends on your decisions featuring two protagonists in different timelines on the same island.
Escape horrifying monsters, solve puzzles and make decisions that will alter yourself and the shape of the world.
The first storyline set in the 1940's follows a man convicted of murder and sent off to the island for the rest of his life. Soon after being dropped off, strange things start to happen as you explore the island, later developing into a story full of mystery, arcane magic twisted with technology and terrifying hostile beings.
The second storyline is set in 2012 and features a young female amateur filmmaker that investigates sites with supposed paranormal activity. Upon hearing about the long abandoned island filled with stories about magic and ghosts, she immediately leaves for the island to film the most terrifying film of her life.
The game is being developed in NeoAxis engine and uses the latest effects like Depth Of Field, SSAO, FXAA and Light Scattering to create an immersive and atmospheric world for you to plunge into.

Tainted Fate is coming along as planned and the further I'm getting in development, the better the game seems, which in turn gives me more motivation to continue working on it.
The story got a major rewrite, but all the main elements are still the same. I'm still in the dark about some of the game's endings. I have about three of them planned out, but the rest still haven't materialized in my head completely.
You're asking yourself why there was no new pre-alpha demo for Tainted Fate in the last three months? Well, you came to the right place for the answer!
In the past three months I was working on new dynamic objects:
These all have dynamic physics so you can carry and throw\move them around.
I was also working on levels that will not be featured in the demo, so there was really no point in releasing a new demo.

I got on TV talking about how I make games and stuff, so if anyone's interested in watching, here:
It's in Croatian, but I put in English subtitles.
They also did a 20 minute interview, but that takes a lot of time to subtitle, so I'll put that on youtube another time.
My girlfriend got a laptop with an nvidia 660m gpu and intel i7 processor so now I have a machine for testing the graphics on ultra settings and that's really nice. It's also useful for playing games :D

Heeya! I've tried out the alpha and it was really awesome :) The atmosphere is quite scary and the island looks beautiful and detailed. I made a Let's Test in German language, so maybe more people will find this game :) I'm looking forward for more from the game!

I have extremely high hopes for this game. Hopefully the development of it could finish so I could play it. It looks and sound from the video that it's obviously not like other Horror Indie games. Definitely looking forward to the full version release.
