Tactical Intervention, also known as TI, was first released and published in 2013 in a beta-worthy state.

Back then, it was bad. Not even the so bad it's good kind of bad, just bad.

Since then, it has seen a lot of improvement, thousands of work hours and massive optimizing. We have spent a lot of time improving performance, looks and networking, polishing hitboxes, clipping and collisions and fixing the recoil and weapon spread as well as providing you with fresh content and other goodies.

We've spent more than half a year working on this patch, so we really do hope you can enjoy it.

TI is an FPS with a huge amount of features, content and eastereggs, and it runs a lot smoother and quicker, it looks and plays much better than it used to do when you might have first seen, heard or even played it.

Expect to have fun and a very, very good time instead of frustration, disorientation and agony.

Oh, and - bring friends. ;)

Looking to build up a community and benefit from feedback and input from fellow artists, we have decided to take it to IndieDB and share our Work in Progress with you.

We tried to make the Kickstarter campaign work - however, the odds were against us.

So we looked into it, gave it a thorough review by experts, and learned from our mistakes.

We learned even more, because the list of our mistakes was pretty long.

And drew the conclusions.

And then, we re-launched on another platform, with the majority of the flaws fixed, and, hopefully, a very good chance to work out:

In other news, we've worked a lot on our game art over the past weeks, and we're in the process of balancing our maps - after all, we DO have a working alpha on our NA server now.

Here's a reel showcasing some of our alpha footage that hasn't been part of the campaign video; we're also working on another one illustrating gameplay on our "Innercity" map, recorded less than a week ago.

The next big thing for us to work on are the TI cars.

The TI:R kickstarter has been stopped and they've relaunched the crowdfunding campaign with some more improvements. This is the site now..


So, if you want to support..you need to head to indiegogo and donate there. The details on why they stopped with the kickstarter campaign is on their facebook page.

Isn't this the game by Counter-Strike's creator?

Also; I played this game back in 2014 or so, and I found it horrible. Horrible because of that unusual aiming system. It looked like the aiming system from those old 007 James Bond video games where the "hands" would aim seperatedly from the "camera view". It was so hard, so, so so so hard to aim, that I gave up on playing it. I wish you, developers, upgrade it by adding an regular aiming system like the ones found on every FPS game, where the "arms" move with the "camera".

On the good side,the maps looked very beautiful and the graphics...well, I guess they were good because my PC couldn't handle it well.

Yes, it is that game, and yes, it was that game... :)

It was in all honesty broken after the release in 2013.

We have, however, by now fixed more than one thousand bugs and glitches, and improved both gameplay and visual quality massively.

It also runs faster (and should do so on your PC ;) ).

Aiming is also easier now since we uncluttered the HUD and fixed recoil + spread.

If we can reach out funding goal, we will bring you something very solid and still hectic fun.

P.S.: Minh is no longer on board for this, but all of the features are.

Is there any gameplay videos of the most recent versions available?

I just checked a gameplay video of TI from 2012...the aiming seemed pretty regular in comparasion of modern games so I do not know what I was complaining about. Anyways; I'm looking forward for this game like I never did before. It reminded me of those Hong Kong police action movies! (a compliment not an offense!)

It might be bad that Le Minh left the studios, he is one of the souls of modern gaming. I wish you good luck

P.S. Is there a way I can donate for the game development?

Hey there,

Right now we're running the Kickstarter Campaign, and we're a bit short of pledges tbh.

Other donations, not possible just yet - but we're trying to set up a STEAM store for all the PayPal people as soon as we can. It's complicated, but we're getting there!

Will update the "Movies" section with recent gameplay footage soon.
