In this thread I will be listing some of the most frequently asked questions and their respective answers.

  • What are the minimum system requirements for System Recovery?

    (These are merely rough guidelines, try the demo before purchasing to make sure the game runs well on your system!)
    Operating System: Windows only for now. (Linux and Mac support coming soon!) Must be able to run Java version 7.
    Processor: 2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor
    Memory: 2 GB (XP) / 3GB (Vista and up) RAM
    Hard disk space: 1 GB free
    Video memory: 256 MB
    Video card: AMD/ATI Radeon 9500, NVIDIA GeForce 5 FX, Intel GMA 4500, or better, supporting OpenGL 2.0 or better
    Peripherals: Keyboard and mouse

  • What type of DRM does System Recovery utilize?

    System Recovery is completely DRM-free.

  • Who made System Recovery?

    System Recovery is a one man project by 21 year old University student Daniel Karsai built upon JMonkeyEngine 3.
    Additional credits go to Kevin MacLeod for his music (incompetech.com) and Chris Green for his help and camaraderie throughout development.

  • How complete is System Recovery at this time?

    System Recovery is currently in beta phase. The game is near its complete state, but is missing some official levels and a few smaller features.
    Due to the current incomplete state of the game, encountering errors and gameplay imbalance is likely to happen. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

  • Which key features are MISSING from the current early access version?

    -Multiplayer support
    -Gamepad (Controller) support
    -Custom keybind support (Currently tweaked to QWERTY keyboards)

  • When is the full version coming out?

    There is no reasonable estimate at this time, but it's very likely to happen somewhere in Q2 2015.
