when does the game come out
Our release date estimation for a full game may be somewhere in 2016, but if you got into the beta test, it may be as early as October 2013 for just the first floor and basic gameplay
Can I join the beta?
If you already applied for beta before we closed registration, then you may be able to play as soon as october

Would I be able to join the development of this project? I have a moderate knowledge of Japanese, I'm willing to learn a coding language once I know which one this project uses.

Well, it seems that you'd mostly be needed for translation work for the game and for any letters that'd be sent to the creator of SAO when we feel we have a presentable project.
Listen If you want beta testers I believe all those who expressed the desire to be one should be allowed because these are the people who came in search of something like this they are dedicated and knowldgeble. I am rooting for you and also learning the Cry engine myself it is slow but if there is any way I can help, I'm here along with everyone else. :D :D :D
I'd love to let everyone wanting to be a beta tester be able to, but that'd be way to many people. Also, we're using the Unity engine, not the Cry engine ^^
For the next beta test i hope I'll be one of those who can play it.
PLEASE DONT STOP TRYING TO MAKE THE GAME BECAUSE ALL THE GOOD ANIME GAMES ARE ALWAYS UNCOMPLETE PLEASE BE THE ONE WHO MAKES IT HAPPEN :D
is this gonna be compatible with oculus? or are you gonna make something like nerve gear?
