SWOOOORDS! Colon Lords of the Sword is a 4-player cooperative dungeon crawling action game made in Unity 3D, inspired by Gauntlet, Golden Axe, Bastion, and Spiral Knights.
== 1.3.1 CHANGELIST (Mar 16 2013) ==== Bugfixes only... but important bugfixes! - Fix : A bug in joystick detection code made it so that keyboard-controlled co-op players would always attack towards the mouse pointer if no joysticks were connected - Fix : Elite enemies (depth 5 and lower) were much less elite than intended. They now have x2 the hitpoints and do x2 the damage of normal enemies. - Fix : If a new player joins mid-game, they will no longer join unarmed.
Swoooords runs pretty good in Linux.
I'm using Mint 14, but it looks GREAT on my 20 in screen.
I even tried using a game controller and it worked too.
Great Job!
No idea why but the screen resolution seems to be detected incorrectly. Half the viewing part is on the right where... it's not visible. This means the character can go way off to the right and the camera (or what I see anyway) won't move with him. It makes the game unplayable. My resolution is 1280*1024.
OS is Linux Mint 14 KDE edition (basically just Ubuntu 12.04 LTS reskinned).
Ah okay.
You need to go into ~/.config/unity3d/nihilocrat/SWOOOORDS! and open the file 'prefs'.
Then edit:
<pref name="Screenmanager Resolution Height" type="int">1024</pref>
<pref name="Screenmanager Resolution Width" type="int">1280</pref>
to whatever resolution you want (it was 1920*1080 by default) and you're good to go!
