We have backed the OUYA kickstarter and got the developer special so we are now building Super Ubi Land to take advantage of the OUYAs specs! The OUYA is a brand new console that is Android based that is open to anyone who is wanting to create games. We specially pledged $699 for the:
Developer Special. A first-run OUYA (already rooted so you can just get going), EARLY SDK ACCESS, an extra controller, and we’ll help you get started. We’ll also help you promote your game for ONE YEAR, and your games will be marked with a FOUNDER EMBLEM.Hopefully this will help us out with getting Notion some more recognition and expose Super Ubi Land (and our future projects like Team Notion)! And here are some new screenshots from an early build of World 1 Level 6!

Looks great! I'm a platform game fan (and developer) so one more that I can play on a tv is great.

It's very interesting, but your tech demo's info signs don't seem to work properly. It never responded whenever I hit the B button.

Many thanks to @Ubisoft for working with us and allowing us to keep the structure and pronounciation of the name. "SUPER UBIE LAND!"

May 15 2013, 9:57pm

The name debate is over! Ubisoft responded and we can name it "Super Ubie Land" only change is adding the E at the end of "Ubie"

May 15 2013, 9:55pm

@Master_ajay_ That would be very helpful. Trying to change the name as gracefully as possible haha.

May 9 2013, 5:15pm

Notion Games is going with the name "Super Yubi Land" until we hear back from Ubisoft. Apologies for any confusion T.co

May 9 2013, 5:03pm

I should name it "Micro Planet" wait, MICROsoft will have a problem with that.

May 7 2013, 2:01pm

we want to keep the vibe of the name and everything. We are thinking of Super Yubi Land. Yubi is a regular name. Thoughts?

May 7 2013, 1:57pm

So because SQUAREsoft has SQUARE in it's name... no one can name a character "Square?"... I don't get that notion at all.

May 7 2013, 1:41pm

It's was meant to be a practice game. Got good feedback and continued with development. But Ubi is a word in many languages.
