The scariest game ever made. Ever.

The goal of Suit: Island is to raise the bar on horror survival games, to make them about more than a few cheap jump scares, and to take the fear and the game
experience to a whole new level. The game will be built around a compelling storyline surrounding the phenomenon of Slenderman aka The Operator.

With RPG elements and puzzle solving, it's up to you to escape the persistent attacks and remain sane in the midst of a terrifying survival game. Don't get lost, a 25 square mile map provides you plenty of places to run, but not many to hide.

The game will be released with a launcher to automatically check for updates and install new content, with the idea being to support the community with new releases and updates as long as it
is active. This way we can fix problems after launch, and add new content for multiplayer and story as time goes on.

We will start simple, and grow bigger

You wake up with no idea what's going on, could it even be a dream? However you will soon come to realize things are very wrong. Thousands of people have disappeared off the island and out of whoever does remain alive, they will soon fall victim to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the Operator.

Though you may feel it, you are not totally helpless, you will find clues: an abandoned Hi-8, USB or SD card with some distorted images. Analyze clues with your laptop, and upload footage from your camcorder and texts/messages/videos from your smartphone to piece together the mystery and break the dark and demonic hold on the island.

Your equipment helps you solve the mysteries of the island and keeps you safe from the attacks. Your smartphone can be used as a flashlight, to send and receive text messages, receive calls and will play some audio distortion to alert you to the presence of The Operator.

Your camcorder helps keep you sane when encountering The Operator, but make sure you have plenty of tape time or it is worthless. Your laptop brings everything together to upload, analyze and
decrypt information picked up by the player or the camcorder.

Using all of this together to get info drops will progress the storyline. Also, it can be used to access the a limited internet, that will grow with the game.

The game's story is split up into 100 parts called Entries. Dependent on the Entry, you will have Loose Ends that can optionally be solved. Think of this as a Quest and Side Quest system. The point of this game is to provide an immersive story through the Entries, and keep fresh and consistently fun gameplay by changing objectives and puzzles.

Of course all of this technology is worthless if you don't charge it. Make sure to keep it all fully charged in safe areas or when you have time.

The 25 square mile map contains various different venues and if quite frankly freaking massive, to navigate this area, you may find abandoned vehicles or moored boats. Hotwire the car (just use the internet to learn how) or take the boat to get around. However, be warned, if you run out of gas, or wreck up the car, its trashed for the entire game, and you're SOL. Similarly with the boat, if you wreck it or get it stuck its worthless for the rest of the game.

One guy is bad enough, but two?

Suit: Island will have another menace: Totheark. This character is acting under
the will and direction of The Operator as a Proxy, basically possessed. This
person, while human, feels neither compassion nor remorse. The Operator may not
be able to physically attack you, but Totheark's mission is to end your life.

You may find it easy to get away from The Operator after time and strategy, but Totheark is far less predictable, will do random and confusing things and is much harder to outrun. If you are
being pursued by Totheark you have the option to try and hide, around landmarks
or in rooms. However, keep in mind: you can't always escape, and sometimes he
will find you, and he will kill you.

To me, it wouldn't be a good game without an epic boss battle. I haven't worked out the specifics yet as it is reliant on the storyline to tie it all together, but to me a good boss battle, is long, difficult, and the most memorable part of the game, and that would be my standard.

Multiplayer gameplay would consist of a co-op storymode, maybe drop-in-drop-out play. Alongside this would be a huge online base with different servers and gamemodes. During our normal cycle of pumping out content we could make new gamemodes. The multiplayer function would make it easier for people to play co-op as well, without the use of LAN emulation.

So what's so different about Suit: Island, what makes it so special compared to any other horror game? We want to make an amazing game that gives people what they want, take feedback from the
community and our players to make improvements, try new things in new settings and create this amazingly memorable and terrifying game experience.

  • Multiplayer, that's the big thing for us.
  • Our game will be as big as the support we receive, we will add more as long as there are players.
  • Light combat system not seen in other Slenderman games.
  • Changing and unique objectives. It's not just about running away and or collecting 7 to 11 of something.
  • Puzzles like cracking safes, decoding messages, riddles, they keep everything
  • fresh and give new challenges.
  • Realism portrayed through the use of a minimalistic HUD
