It took longer than it really should have but by 2050, humanity has finally colonized Mars. The leader of the effort is an entrepreneur named Jeff Murray. Rather than live on the surface of the Mars, People have made their homes deep underground. The city and all its supporting facilities are buried deep down, safe from the inhospitable climate of the surface. Dr. West migrated to Mars recently at the personal invitation of Jeff Murray. Dr. West has been working on important research which he had hoped might lead to a cure for the Alzheimer's Disease. In Subterrain you fill the shoes of Dr. West, the apparent lone survivor of the underground city of Mars. Do what you must to fight, survive, escape, or otherwise amongst limited resources and relentless enemies. Your worst enemy will be your own carelessness...

We have released a minior patch version of 0.6i.

They are mostly related to UI or level bug.

file name should be like (Subterrain.0.6i.2.zip) if you download it

We didn't want to spam IndieDB download section with minor updates. Version up on max once a day should be cool.

Please fix the bug of enlightenment. Because the lighter doesn't light almost nothing and flashlight illuminates almost nothing.

It may be a silly question but have you actually turned it on? Key ( f or l) . They also need energy to run and at the moment zippo's energy is not replaceable. But you can replace battery for flash light. Both lights loses it effectiveness over time. It is player's chice to replace battery early or use it tilll end in expense of dimmer light.

Hi. I have found cause for the lack of light. It seems like the game is failing to create texture needed to process light. This could be caused by graphics card not having enough memory.

There are couple of things that we can try.

First.

Your computer doesnt have dedicated video memory so maybe your setting for it can make more memory for applications.

Second.

I can try to make game use less video memory based on the resolution you play but this wont solve problem if pc doesnt or unable to provide min amount of video memory.

We know and you may think the game shoukd run well under such limited resourced pc because the game is 2d but the game uses advanced 2d lighting that requires some processing by gpu so the min spec could possilbly be set above what your pc is.. this is bit unfortunate but there is little we can do about that.

However i am going to do everything to see if we can make it to run in such min spec so i will let you know once i have a build.
