StarForge is a sci fi survival sandbox. Hunt to eat, dig for resources, craft many items, build a fort, and fight enemies in order to survive! Do this alone, or with other players, in a fully infinite procedural world.
Some the features shown in the video are not yet included in this build but they will be playable soon.
We are currently trying our best to work out the kinks and get our project polished and working like we had imagined it. The first build was extremely rushed and I was unsure about releasing it in the state it was but we needed to time it right with E3. We are aware of it's quirks and welcome feedback from people who try it out. Rest assured we are aware of what makes a quality game and such will come in time. But... it will be like a Tower Defense or more like a Minecraft (sandbox)?
It would be great if there where 2 game modes, one like destroy the enemy base, and other like Minecraft (Exploration, etc etc... Sandbox)
Silly viewer, they explicitly stated there would be two gamemodes: Survival inspired by Terraria and Borderlands, and Fort Wars inspired by Minecraft Halo and Warcraft 3.
Yea, yea, yea... but in the text on the homepage says that if will have elements of theese games... not said that will be these gamemodes... ah, anyway i cant understand all XD My english is veryy baad
Nice but are those PIG SOUNDS?
I love the physics animations, but they seem a tad a loose. An example would be the falling down and picking yourself back up, it didn't look quite right.
But again, I love what you guys are accomplishing in this game and that's just a minor complaint for me :)
