It's been a while since the last update. That's also with a reason. I've been quite seriously ill since the start of april. And it isn't showing any signs of improvement yet. So I have not been able to really do coding work. It has not been at a total standstill though.

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since the last update. That's also with a reason. I've been quite seriously ill since the start of april. And it isn't showing any signs of improvement yet. So I have not been able to really do coding work. It has not been at a total standstill though.

First of all, I've been looking into revenue models. I can't tell too much about that yet, but if one model which I prefer is technically feasible with my knowledge, then the game will be released for free. There won't be microtransactions either. So you pay no money for the game, and there won't be ingame advertising. How this exactly works is something I will release when I get it functional.

Secondly, we've been having a few more soundtracks being done or near to being done. F-777 produced another soundtrack concept, being more trance-like and will be used for the periods with less combat.

Also, we've had a first soundtrack made by Shaul Hadar, which is more orchestral-ish. It can also be listened here.

Last but not least, I am still contemplating to switch from XNA to the SharpDX API. Why? Because XNA has certain problems with making it cross-platform. SharpDX will be relatively easy to convert to OpenGL later on to make it run on Linux and macs.

So all in all, there has been some progress!
