Split is a beautifully minimalist puzzle game where you divide yourself to explore, solve and create.

In Split, you take control of a cube, which has the ability to break up and split into smaller cubes. Using whatever cubes you have at your disposal, you must try to solve puzzles to reach the door at the end of the level, bringing as much of yourself with you as possible. But beware, split too much and your cube will be lost forever.

Current State:

Split is based off a prototype that we developed for a university paper. While we have 3 fully functioning levels, we also have the groundwork for a multitude of new puzzles, each employing a combination of existing and new mechanics in unique environments.

In the works:

Want to see your cubes do things never before thought possible? We are currently working on making these little cubes do some amazing things, implementing new features such as air currents and flowing water volumes, all designed to provide more diverse and challenging puzzles.

Alongside our pre-designed levels, we also want to facilitate the creative minds of our players. Using Unreal Engine 4 and Steam Workshop integration, we are making a level editor platform for you as players to put a little part of yourselves into the game, letting you share your creative vision with your friends and the world.
