Oldschool topdown Shooter with advanced light/shadow effects and an evolving story in a Film Noir style. Shoot many monsters, use light to scare them off, upgrade your weapons, demolish everything around you, battle bosses and do side missions. The game always comes up with something new to keep you entertained. And when you're done with the story, battle on for ranks in worldwide leaderboards in Arcade modes. You get to keep all your upgrades. Or invite a few friends for local multiplayer mayhem. Up to 4 people on one computer can fight each other in Deathmatch or stand together in Coop Survival against ever-growing hordes of enemies.

Post news Report RSS Splatter Release tomorrow! Plus team photo.

Now look at this: we're nearly done! You all probably know the lunacy in the final days before Release, trying to tackle five issues at once. Ours is no different.

So Splatter will be released. If all goes right, our web shop opens by tomorrow and the first version of Splatter can be purchased. For 10€ or roughly US$ 12 you get a story line, an arcade game mode vs online leader boards and two multiplayer modes with or against your friends. Our testers report 4 to 7 hours of gameplay for the story line alone, depending on what side missions you do, so I think you get some bang for your buck.

But that isn't all. If we can afford it, we'll continue working on Splatter after the initial release. We intend to add new Arcade- and Multiplayer game modes, new maps for the existing modes, voice acting for all of the main story, ports to other platforms - all delivered to you via free updates. Let's see how far we can take this.

Right now though we're spinning like crazy, tackling five issues at once while always worrying that we might have missed a critical issue. We also took a few photos of our team for various purposes. We now got the face images for the credits, we got the photo for the ThankYou post-purchase page, and we took some team photos. I'd like to share one of those with you:

This is us. Right side is Michael, responsible for graphics, web design, web programming. Left is me, Thomas, doing all coding, game design, organisation, PR and everything leftover.
I'd also use the chance to present the new website of our sound expert Sven Gerlach - Svengerlach.de He's a cool guy, competent at both music and sound fx, and also a friendly chap. He got nice rates for indies if you ask him nicely :-)
