lol, the inventory increases as you level up... well, it can make sense, but it makes more sense to just assign weight to every item and put a max wieight you can trasport (that incrases as you level up)

its a good idea, but I really found it to be easier to limit the inventory slots because if I assign a max weight even at top levels some heavy gear can use allot of the weight, Its much easier and less complicated to limit the inventory slots rather then weight amounts :)

And if you play multiplayer and your friend gives you a heavy strong item we would rather you to be able to use it.

Also when you die even at high levels your levels go down which you need to increase to get full inventory space, you would be upset if you lost all your very good gear every time you lost a level because you couldn't carry it, but this way still allows you to carry your really good gear no matter your level

Ye, though maybe there should be some items to increase inventory space :) ofcourse, you'd lose these too when you die ^.^

i think that actualy if you loose levels upon death, you should loose a little of the enemy awarness of you, so that even if you loose everyting you cant carry, you can still drop some stuff in a chest and go back were you died and get all back without having to face a tank. because he killed you, he tinks youre dead and goes away, and also every other creture will tink that you are dead untill you get your kill on again).
(max weight + limited inventory)
and also weight make more sense that your backpack getting more big as you level up XD
but of course, you could mix weight with backpacks and make something awesome.

Yes, from the beginning, higher levels attract better enemies, so, if you de-level, naturally, you'd face weaker enemies again :)
I don't think you'll be able to recover your items though... reminds me too much of certain other games xD ...

why should i be not able to get back my items? if i have good stuff and i die and i cant get my items back i'm probably going to rage quit and start over the game (or spawn in the items i had) wich will make me stop playing after a while (because i lose interest in a agme in wich in one moment of stupidity i can lose my stuff) instead of losing them, you should make them damaged (maybe placing durability on weapons and armors) so that when i get them back i may not be able to use them untill i repair them

and also, some tings are good to be changed, but if one ting is right and good in a kind of game why wanting to change it at all costs? (but anyway, most of the games make you "game over" and load back from a save)

because the monsters steal your things when you die lol.

But we will see what we can do, we don't want the game to make you mad when you die we just want to make death a really bad thing you don't want to happen. other games death is like oh well who cares? go pick up all your old loot and your back to normal.

You should at least have chances to lose small amounts of stuff

its not set in stone, we are still planning and changing stuff like this, so it could easily be changed to items dropping just depends on what everyone thinks is best for Spacebit.

you don't need to be a human astronaut you can be some sort of alien you look like a human though but we did plan on adding other aliens you could be but at the moment we aren't focusing on that :)
