Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored. Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes.

With this week’s update we are implementing a new admin toolset that empowers server admins to better manage their games - The Space Master (accessed by pressing ALT+F10). It allows admins to better maintain their servers or to enforce the server rules and create a game environment on the fly (think Dungeon Master).

Another great new feature is the Construction cockpit that allows you to place new blocks in the exact same ways as you were used to but from the comfort of your small or large ship (by pressing CTRL+G while in cockpit).
