Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses (civil and military), pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive. Featuring both creative and survival modes, there is no limit to what can be built, utilized and explored. Space Engineers features a realistic, volumetric-based physics engine: everything in the game can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed. The game can be played either in single or multiplayer modes.

Hello, Engineers! Today we have the game’s next major update for you. This means that we have more significant features in the update on top of a bunch of fixes and improvements.

To start with, we have the new in-game server browser created by Rexxar. We’ve heard your feedback on the server browser over the last two years, and it has been completely redesigned. It is much faster than before, and contains many new features.
There are also newly updated 3rd person character animations releasing this week that you will notice when using tools or weapons. The engineer will now hold them in a much more natural position than before!
