Next batch of professionally recorded voice-over!
- This week: stillalive christmas party, final animation update, Sarahul can catch fire, visuals of spellbook improved.
- We also implemented more voice-overs which were recorded in professional studios in LA by pro actors.
- We show you Kate Higgins, who voiced characters in Legend of Korra, or Sakura in Naruto Shippuden and is our main female player voice Behindthevoiceactors.com
- And Oliver Vaquer, who voiced characters like Robert Lutece in Bioshock Infinite or played in TV series like Dexter or gave his voice to the Killer Queen in Family Guy. He's our Vuushaar Imdb.com
Great work, guys! I really like the voice acting. The running animation is very sweet as well, but I did notice some clipping with the legs and the clothing (the tabard like flaps) that's a bit static. A minor thing though.
+/- a month? Whoohoo!
thanks :) yes, +/- a month until the game is done from our end. i don't know if it gets released by our distribution partner right away digitally or if they want to wait until they also produced the packaging and boxes. we will see. let's hope digital release is asap :) from our end it will be ready then. we keep you posted
I've backed you guys, so I can already play but I've managed keep my promise (to myself) to wait until the final release. I'll keep a close eye on the word.
I've been tracking your progress from the very beginning (on IndieDB). Great project, great team and love the way how you communicate to us. I'm a fan and hope to see a lot more from you guys with future projects.
Hehe, thank you so much Sph!nx :)
Damn. These actors was probably very expensive :'
They were. But it was totally worth it. I just finished a first good mix of all the sounds, music and voice-over and I played the latest nightly build today to see how everything plays together. It's such a great atmosphere and the world came so much more alive with voice-over than it did before. It was a joy to play and had a great atmosphere. We can't wait to release Son of Nor once we finished all the final polishing tasks.
It was totally worth it! I hope we convince critics and that we make a decent amount of profit so we could fund our next game with equal high quality standards! Let's keep our fingers crossed :)
