A fully realized 3D space sandbox shooter where the player defends our galaxy by repelling the sinister Bivalvian invasion and preventing the alien forces from enslaving humanity. Sol Avenger features an expansive futuristic universe that blends linear story arcs with infinite space action adventure. Sol Avenger controls like a first person shooter but it looks and plays like a space arcade game. Players can level their ships and weapon systems as they complete storyline missions and defeat hostile forces. Boldy go where no man has gone before into deep space star systems and planetary systems. Dive into unexplored planets, space stations, comets, asteroids, futuristic human colonies and discover alien technology. It's a sweet blend between exploration, combat, and an rpg element of collecting, upgrading while skilling up. YOU decide what you want to do, where you want to go and, how you want to do it.

Don't ignore these rules, we want you to stay here with us!
Welcome to the Quantum Forge IndieDB Forums. Thanks for joining up! In order to ensure that the forums are a casual and friendly environment for all involved, please take a look at our rules and guidelines.
Breaking rules and guidelines will result in verbal/point-based warnings base don our discretion, and potentially a temporary or permanent ban.
By posting on these forums you testify that you have read and agreed to our Terms of Use.
You must be 13 or over to sign up for our forums. For more info on this requirement take a look at Coppa.org.

Rule #1: Work together and be nice. Don't be insensitive.
Treat everyone with respect. Every member comes from different walks of life, and some people are more sensitive than others. We want a forum where everyone feels comfortable sharing and interacting with one another. Having an intelligent discussion or a disagreement are not the same as Insulting or mocking someone, and we know the difference.
Quantum Forge embraces other people's belief systems and identities, however please reserve your right to keep offensive or racist beliefs to yourself. Serious discussions like these are best suited for in person encounters. Debating is fine, but keep it classy and don't intentionally offend people.
Don't make arguments personal, and if someone else does, simply report them. We'll handle it.

Violations

  • Trolling! gb2 4chan bro. Racism, sexism, ableism or any other derogatory -isms, as well as homophobia, transphobia. Don't be a hater, player.
  • Please don't post links to shock/gore sites, and don't post links to "screamer" videos without proper warning.
  • Taking a conversation or debate and pushing to devolve it into a flame war or personal attacks.
  • Like we said, there is a big difference between having a healthy disagreement and insensitive and inflammatory. Search your feeling you know it to be true. Try to get your point across in a way that's more polite. Are you trying to make a real point, or are you trying to get a response? If you contribute nothing to discussions but negativity, accusations or attacks, you will not have the chance to for very long. "Your art/suggestion/opinion sucks" doesn't help anyone.
  • Evading bans. If you were banned and disagree with the reasons, speak to a mod or admin about your ban situation or contact social@quantumforgegames.com . Evading your ban by making a new account is just gonna get you banned some more.

Rule #2: No innapropriate content.
This is not the place to post 18+ content or illegal content. No porn, no explicit sexual discussion/roleyplay and no discussion of where and how to pirate things. This rule exists because we don't want to have to deal with DMCA takedown requests.

Posting Guidelines
The above two rules are what's most important, but following these posting guidelines ensures that the forums stay uncluttered and convenient to use.

  • Don't double-post. If you have something to add to your previous post, use the "Edit" button. If you want to reply to two different posts, you can press the quote button on both of them (it will add both quotes to the quick reply box at the bottom.) That said, if you've made a topic that's been totally ignored and buried, it's okay to bump once or twice, especially if you are adding content. Don't bump your thread if it's a) still on the first page of a subforum (sorted by most recent posts), or b) it's been less than 2 days since the last post. Give us time to respond!
  • Spam/off-topic posts. Spamming up discussion threads with one-word posts, emote spam, replying to a thread with nothing but an image macro or reaction gif, etc. In order to keep topics readable and relevant, please avoid making posts that just say "I agree" or "Yes/no" or any other single word responses. Try not to stray from the topic at hand-- it's rude to derail someone's thread.
  • Posting to Dead Topics. Replying to old threads is fine as long as the replies contribute to the discussion further. Posting about how old a thread is or that the thread was necro'd is not fine and does not contribute to the discussion further.
  • Advertising. Please don't spam up our forums by adding "go look at my site/thread/project/etc" to every post you make, or by PMing users to try and rally them to your cause. If you've got something interesting you want to show people, make a thread in the Off-Topic section. Posting a link to a cool new indie game is fine. Posting a link to your company's discount prescription drugs is not. Use your best judgment. Please do not make a thread to ask for donations or post links to promote commercial products or services. Please do not use click-through advertising/shortlinking services (no ad.fly). If you don't know, then ask a staff member. Making an account on our forums solely to promote your company is not the intended use of this forum.
  • Please post in English. If your English isn't very good, please include a translation in your post. We do our best to be inclusive of everyone, but it's infinitely easier for our staff and community to keep track of conversations in just one language. We will try to keep our answers to translated questions easy to understand.
  • Don't make more than one account. There's no need to have more than one. If you want to change your username, it is possible. Keep in mind that username changing is limited.
  • Try to keep this forum focused on Quantum Forge. While we allow non-Quantum Forge-related discussion in forums such as the Off-Topic forum, we want the forums to represent the activity around the games we are developing and post count raising "forum game" threads skew the numbers.
  • Creative signatures are cool, but obnoxiously large or distracting ones aren't. Please don't embed videos (YouTube or otherwise), or other such items in your signature, as not everyone's computer is super-duper fast. You may have animated GIFs in your signature, but please try to avoid flashy seizure-inducing ones.
