It's been a month!

News

Hi!

Okay so it's been a month sine I released Slender: The Haunted Metro and I'm really excited about how many people played the game, uploaded videos on YouTube and enjoyed a fresh version of Slenderman! Also I decided to start a Facebook fanpage mainly because Facebook gives me more freedom to customize the page and inform you more easily. Also now I have a YouTube channel. Currently there's only one video on the channel which is the Announcement Trailer for the game but I'm going to populaute the YT channel with more videos and stuff soon. All of the links will be in the bottom of this article so if you want to know more about the game make sure to like the FB fanpage and subscribe to the YT channel. Also I wanted to mention that I'm not going to abandon the IndieDB site - all of the downloads for the game will be still here so also make sure to check the IndieDB site regularly. Also I'm thinking about a new project which is not going to be about Slenderman but about something else but this is just a thought and actually I haven't done anything for that new project. I think that's all I wanted to tell you - thanks again guys, you are amazing!

This is a beautiful Slender remake. The game itself wasn't all that scary but you can't blame that on the developer. I'd personally say it's not scary for me because of 2 things:
1) The whole "Slenderman" hype has calmed down since the original 8 Pages game got released, and
2) I've played a fair few horror games on my channel now and some really have made me yelp like an injured dog.

That being said, this is utterly gorgeous to play in UE4 and Slender did get the jump on me a couple of times. I feel the developer could've used some other sound effects in the main menu rather than ripping them straight from Silent Hill but other than that this is a very well recommended game.

It's basically the original 8 Pages game but with modern graphics, a new location and a bit of a story for the protagonist. A worthy successor to the original.

You can see my playthrough here ► Youtu.be.

EDIT: Can someone explain me how the articles are supossed to work because I want to post an article on my game site and I have to wait for it to be accepted by the IndieDB staff member?
I've written an article with the same content as this comment and I'm going to see how long I have to wait. For now - articles on IndieDB suck, that's why I created a FB fanpage.
