Ramp onto your opponents platform and steal their flag!

Posted by on

Grassy Knoll is a platform base CTF level. It is a smaller map, and is designed to keep all the action concentrated in a valley. In order to steal your opponents flag, you must first ramp onto their base. Matches move along very fast in this lush landscape.

The idea for the two platforms actually came from a friend of mine. As the earlier version of this level was two bases, but he felt that was done too many times. So I took the time to change it, and it worked out great. There are also some high ground areas that I put into it that can only be reached from the air. This is the smallest of the four CTF maps included in Silas.

Thanks for reading. Please feel free to let me know what you think. My aim is to make Silas one of the best PC games around, so please help support it by tracking, spreading the word, and pre-ordering!

Looking really great, reminding me a bit of Halo too.

Thanks! It used to have 2 bases, but it ended up being to similar to Halo so I changed it to be platforms. This was actually a very good decision as it's very free flowing and much more fun. :)
