Shadowcrypt is an arcade-style dungeon crawler with tactical sword & shield combat. Your goal is simple - to find the Necromancer and defeat his horde of undead warriors through a series of labyrinthine rooms. Inspired by the combat mechanics of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Shadowcrypt is a short but challenging game with old-school gameplay reminiscent of the 8-bit era. Quick reflexes, timing, and keen observation of enemies are essential to survive the deadly catacomb!

Official trailer for Shadowcrypt is finally up! Finally I have managed to put something together to show off what the game is about. The game is practically almost done, and barring any show-stopping bugs it should be out soon. Thank you for watching!

PS. The game is now on Greenlight! [Greenlight the game here!]

This looks fantastic. I love the direction your going with combat - fewer, but more complex and interesting enemies.

I like this style of game. It seems very challenging! And the art style is great! The movement is fluid and smooth. Tracking!

Thanks! No the game is not procedurally generated, the gameplay is actually much more arcade-like. All rooms are predefined and there are no roguelike elements in the game. Cheers!

Rockin. Do you have a preference for how you'd want it distributed? Steam or something?

I would love to get it on Steam! My initial plan is for the game to go up on both itch.io and Desura, but lately I've been thinking about greenlight as well. Having it there would be pretty neat.
