Looks like the interior of the Death Star in a way.

This is a very cool construction, as I've said elsewhere. But one thing puzzles me: why would you want an airlock into the fuel tank? Wouldn't a pump be all the access you want to the tank?

In the unlikely event of a boarding action, an airlock would provide boarders easy access to your fuel tank, where they might be able to plant a timed charge or something. Just food for thought. Otherwise, this is an impressively functional reactor room!

I still have the airlock because I wonder what will happen if the main pump inside breaks down, and the only way to fix it would be to cut through the armor.

I am considering making it a door in a hard-to-reach spot, and replacing the airlock with some kind of pipeline or perhaps the main engineering terminal.

Either way, eventually I am going to redesign this station with all the knowledge I've gained building this one, so thanks for the tip :)

I just thought this would look cool, what with the perspective shenanigans.

This is the main reactor core. That airlock at the bottom leads to the fuel tank.
