Experience the darkness of SCP-087 firsthand in this new alpha build!
UPDATE: This build has been re-packaged to fix a number of errors and add new features. List of prominent changes:
-Packaged for 64-bit instead of 32-bit
-Created a fully animated model with arms and a body for SCP-087-1, as opposed to a floating face, making for a very freaky death screen
-Flashlight indicator light fades from green to red to indicate battery level
-Fully functional save/load and checkpoint system
-Animated 3D main menu with music and scenery
-Fixed issue of ambience not playing on reload
-Improved AI perception
-Fixed issue of AI catching you through walls
-Added a stamina meter
-Added safe zones in the labyrinth section
Known issues:
-Loading saved game from main menu does not preserve inventory data
-Returning to main menu will not always load music
-Navigation for first hallway ghoul is buggy
The frequent crashes should no longer be an issue. I discovered they were caused by rendering and PoolThread crashes, likely caused by a lack of memory from the 32-bit export only supporting 4GB of RAM. TL;DR the game can use more memory now thus preventing crashes. Have fun!
Requirements: Windows 10 64-bit is required to run this game. 7 may work but has not been tested. I would recommend you play this with at least 8-16GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD equivalent, and Intel Core i7 or AMD equivalent.
