SANTRIA! Windows, Mac, Linux game

Hello everyone! My name is Schotti, a chemist by day and an indie game developer by night. I want to present you my pet project, which I am developing since mid 2015. I think, the time is finally right to share some information about SANTRIA!

This is my first devlog entry. Enjoy!

Which type of game is SANTRIA!?

SANTRIA! is a light-hearted, turn-based JRPG with a strong focus on exploration and character interaction. This coming-of-age story is inspired by Earthbound and the mysterious atmosphere/setting of Twin Peak with a flavor of X-Files. Pine Falls is a small town with numerous quirky characters you can socialize and romance with. Incidentally, you discover a conspiracy during your everyday school life, resulting in the awakening of your psychic abilities.

Check out some of the uploaded images to get a feeling for the graphical style and atmosphere! A sneek peak of the turn-based combat system is also included!

Latest progress:

I worked on a fishing minigame as a possible free-time activity. This quick-time event works really smoothly and the development was fun! I hope you enjoy the visual presentation as much as I did!

Another big chunk of work was the name registration at the game start. Check it out!

The player can rename the three main heroes and has to name his/her favorite music genre and food. These informations will be useful to increase the immersion for the player!
