Roses and Gems is a game all about dying. Er, I mean, Roses and Gems is all about avoiding the inevitable, whether you're slaying harmless creatures trying to blow up your catalyst, mining underground for gems to trade with merchants, collecting upgrades for your person, finding secrets of the underground or even building the baddest, wickedest fort ever only to have it torn down by dirt slinging dung beetles.

So, I've finally got off my behind and set up and indieDB page for Roses and Gems. New version just released too!

So, I've finally got off my behind and set up and indieDB page for Roses and Gems. Roses and Gems is a game I accidental created (long story short, started a competition early by accident). I decided I would finish it that week and get back to work on Reign&Rule. 3 weeks later, the game was complete, proudly I released my first game for sale, it was very exciting. However, like all first games, I hardly got any sales... at all. I sent my video to a couple youtubers (read: a lot) hoping to get some interest in my game. Then, to my surprise the youtuber said my game was not worth the dollar it costed (which in hindsight, might be true), however, this made me realise what I should fix and gave me some good feedback. Now, rather grateful for the video (You rock Ignideus!), I work on the next update.

Once the update has been complete, I will continue to work on Reign&Rule. I'm hoping to finish the update by next month. However, seeing as some people have bought my game, I decided to release an earlier beta-build of the update, the build fixes most of the major problems outlined by Ignideus.
So update 1.1.0 beta is out!
