Behold Rooks Keep! A place where the dignity, decorum and quiet reverence of Chess have gone to Hell! In Rooks Keep players take command of brutal gothic warriors and battle to lay waste to their opponents. The blood, weapons and remains of the fallen litter the arena as players fight for glory in this barbaric take on Chess. Knights decapitate, mighty Rooks smash their way through and Mages burst hapless Pawns like tomatoes. The etiquette of this game is sheer brutality! In Rooks Keep, players fight in detailed, full 3D environments and choose from a variety of animated sets of warriors. Rooks Keep is not only limited to Chess and offer battles in a variety of modes, including Chess. In addition to traditional multiplayer, players will be able to take on AI opponents as well should they choose. Rooks Keep will also utilise the power of the Unreal Engine via the Unreal Development Kit to bring new life (and death) to this age old game.
