Before you ask what is Rogue Republic, I'll sumarize it this few statements. Rogue Republic is:
Current work is mainly done on basic Russia & USA customizable faction sets, which you can turn into smth else and internal alpha.
Don't be shy - show your support, bro!
Are you building a new engine from scratch? That must be tough, but it looks very promising, though not yet as good as when it was a C&C3 mod. You'll get there, because I've seen the quality of your work in the mod, even though this is different.
own engine - is the ultimate goal. Until then I experiment with different engines, such as Unity, Torque, Spring and NeoAxis. Even I dunno which will be the final one.
And why not as good? The quality of the skins has grown considerably, at least in my point of view :P
Maybe it's just the quality of the surroundings that's getting to me, but I know that will change, so excuse my judgement.
Perhaps the textures look too flat.
don't excuse, any objective criticism is helpful for the developer :)
I thinkthis time round, after looking at your models and previous work on the mod, I can conlude that your textures are flat, making it look like cardboard stickers. The models are very good though.
What engine are you experimenting with right now? It looks like Spring to to me.
looks cool keep it up!
