Red Laser Z is an accuracy FPS built around raycasting. You have a powerful laser that can destroy everything with one shot, including enemies, NPCs, and world objects. You are rewarded when you destroy enemies, and penalized when destroy the rest.
Here's a speedrun of the 1st Chapter. People are saying that they must be very careful and take their time in each room. That’s one way of playing, but we’d like to show our technique of ‘shock & awe’.
- First thing is using the "look around corners" movement, holding 'Q', then ‘W/S’. This way the enemies don't awake, and you can pretty much kill everything without hassle.
- You also have to kill enemies before they have the chance to gang up on you. Once you open a door, shoot the most enemies you can within the first 2 seconds before seeking shelter.
- Lastly, it helps if you try to hit the robots on the openings of their shields (the hole from where the missiles are launched).
