Setting: The room is
dark, the only thing visible is the glow of a lantern. Jericho sits at a simple table with a cigar and a glass of whiskey. At
the far end of the room is the silhouette of a doorframe in the darkness. Light
seeps in under the door, but demons from the other side of the door cast
shadows moving through this light as they claw, scrape and smash at the door. JERICHO looks up at the 4th wall to reveal
a haggard bloody face.
JERICHO:
Oh, I have seen the devil. Been spittin’ in his eye and pissin’ on his boot for
16 years. Then, when you’ve become a fierce enough pain in his ass…(Glances
back at the pounding door, Drinks Whiskey and puffs on his Cigar and looks back
at the 4th wall ) When you insult the devil, he remembers, and the
devil has all the time in the world for vengeance.
[Fades to black.
Music Swells. Title Card and opening credits. Fade’s back in. JERICHO Rides a motorcycle horizontal across
the screen...]
This
2D sidescroller follows the adventures of Jericho Griefsong, Hellsinger
of the Vanguard, as he attempts to slay Dragos Yule, The Merciless
Vampyre Lord of the Blood Legion. Along the way he must protect his
brethren, rescue the Damsel, and try to keep his blood in his veins.
