Post news Report RSS Project Icarus Update #4

So many things to discuss, new logo, new video, new merch. Where do we begin?

Posted by on

It's been a while since we last updated, so let's just get right to it.

New Project Icarus Logo

Bam! Take a look at that sexy thing. It's our new logo that you'll see plastered all of the place. What's that orange thingy to the left over there? That's Icarus shooting up towards the sun with his wings, which falls in place of the lore for the game.

Next on the list of all things new, we have a new programmer, and this one seems promising. While our team is filled incredibly talented and imaginative people, we've been struggling to get anywhere without programmers. Sure we showcase a few speed mapping videos here and there, but let's face it; without one, we're pretty much dead in the water. This person is a software engineer and seasoned programmer of Unreal Engine 4, so in time we hope that they can build our ambitious concept into real life for all of you to play around in.

New Video!:

New merch (only merch)? New merch. We've decided to do a different type of shirt, with a crazy marketing campaign attached to it. Looking at it from here, you can see that there is a giant QR code attached to the back. We're hoping people will get so intrigued as to what Project Icarus is, that they'll scan the code and look into us more, and hopefully sign up to our newsletter.

Last but certainly not least, we've updated our website to include many different ways for you guys to alleviate some of the work. Whether it's joining the newsletter to get the most important news first, or donating to help us move along with development. Any kind of attention is free marketing for us, and we'll take it.

Thank you for taking the time and reading this huge massive post of nonsense, I hope you track this game, sign up to our newsletter, or even buy a shirt to help with spreading the word of Project Icarus. We're getting dangerously close into revealing what exactly is so ambitious about our game, and hopefully it'll drag in more attention. But until then, you must settle with these boring tiny updates!

Much love,
- Lethal Lens Dev team <3
