Project Defender for hire (Working title) is a new tower defense game made with small colored voxels and full destructible environment, with varied and cute scenarios, many enemies and a full arsenal to stop them. It may look cute, but the difficulty is not cute at all.
The damage taken by an enemy is different depending on the tower, the size, physical resistance, magic resistance, and the position of the attack. There are four main types of towers: Physical, Magical, Support and Special.
The terrain and structures are full destructible, you will have various ways to destroy and re-arrange structures to allocate defenses or block the way. But beware, enemies can also destroy structures that you must defend.
Every game environment is not only a new place with new graphics and totally new enemies, but presents a new strategic challenge to the player, which is more complicated as you progress through your adventure. You can rotate the map and zoom the camera to view the action from any angle, do this on some levels is absolutely necessary to win.
You're a wizard's apprentice specializing in defense, who want to enter into a guild of mages and offer your services to get some money. The guild receives requests from people seeking help and give you missions for a reward. But your first mission does not end as you have planned.

Hi! I added a fully destructible environment!
The voxels have levels of hardness to differentiate the resistances of materials such as dirt, wood, stone, etc. A voxel by receiving damage, loses strength depending on the damage taken until finally is destroyed.
Here you can see an example of this, with the resistance level highlighted in red:

The terrain is completely destructible except in certain critical areas, also may receive multiple impacts:
Besides of the destruction of the terrain, there is destruction of structures. If certain amount of the structure is destroyed, the structure fall:

This environment destruction will affect the gameplay in different ways, in future news I will detail more about this.
