PreCIV is on the way to become a more defined and indepth game as I have intended at the very beginning and I will update you with the new facts.

The two competing sides, pandemic and research, are actually getting a face. The good organization is still something like the WHO, the world's health organization. It does try to save human being.

The other side is a bit more interesting on it's story. While we still seek a name it is a pharmaceutical company which had invented the ultimate cure to any heavy disease like AIDS, SARS or flues. Now to still make money they decided to create their own germs which are resistent to current cures and spread them on various places on earth. Meanwhile they develop a cure for this new germ and sell it.

The job for the healthy organization is to stop the infection before the outbreak is to heavy. Generally not to buy the cure from the evils to reduce their income and power.

As a player you will be educated to a genetic assistant (representing the tutorial). Then you will have to join on of the group and try to rise from an unpaid intern to the company's leader. Meanwhile technology increases and the actions of both sides are getting violent.
Expect mutant zombie hordes across the globe on the one side and weapons of mass destruction against them.

The world has been split into more detailed areas so a local gameplay should make fun too, which is more likely in the early gameplay. So the world-wide pandemic is something for custom matches or mid to late gameplay (in career mode). If you are interested, we use a technique known as "voronoi" or "delaunay" triangulation to automatically define smaller areas.

So far I can't update you with more information but I really hope there is something you will like to hear and try in January. So far you have to enjoy the concept art updates.

Thanks

Hey, i wanted to ask a question, what about ensure some stuff like for example, Rio de Janeiro is having heavy infections, what do you want to do? Like, Quarantine, Distribute Masks, And stuff like that?

Not sure if I got your question, but basically this is the gameplay of the defenders. You may get information of new infections and such status updates, but you are always asked to perform an action and not just by a message popping up.

You upgrade the virus by several categories which affect basicall those parameters: Spread, Strength, Deadliness and Visibility. Also you define Symptoms (Cough or bloddy things) as well as Zombie behaviour and mutations in the later stages. I can't tell al details.

Just read it here, god so damn awesome, also, what about you kind of control the zombies bodies, like, if they are more intact, or more rotten, or like, have them be quick in cost of something else, you know, Perks, that you sacrifice the use of one, to maintain another one, like, slow and strong to Quick and Weak, Things like that, that can change the experience each time, and, make an zombie view screen so you can study how your zombies are.

We will see how this turns out, but this goes to much into detail now. But there will be tools to add tactics to the zombies as well.

Sorry, I missed this comment. EndCiv is still the project I really want to publish, but like I mentioned PreCIV is the way towards it, it even turned into a prequel, like the name suggests. It was rather a "foolish idea" but turned into a serious game project now.
I know it seems like nothing happened lately but I have to say that we have to announce something very cool soon and I am hardly working on lots of sides.

Thanks for keeping interest.
