Finally, the 0.16 update for Pokémon3D is out. Sorry for not releasing it last Tuesday, I have been too busy ;)
Let’s get serious, here are the most important changes:
- new maps: Route 46, Route 37, Gate between Route 29 and 46, Mr. Pokémons house, Violet Gym, Violet Center, Violet Mart
- Kakuna + Rattata can evolve now.
- Weather enhancements + new particle animations (see screenshot above)
- Wild Pokémon on Route 30
- battle music, gym music, cave music, new sounds
- repel items
- see hold items in storage system
- get transported to latest Pokécenter after being defeated (violet center is not working with this mechanic)
- status fall/rise animations in battles
- lots and lots of fixes (eg battle enter crash, plant apricorn crash, glitch out of map, loose Pokémon when shutting down PC and a lot more.)
You can get the new update when opening the launcher and select “Download latest game files”.

I've been having difficulty getting this to run in Win8, the launcher opens fine and the download of v0.16 came through without a hitch but when I hit the "start game" button the launcher closes and that's it.
Can't see that anything's trying to run in the task manager too :S
Try installing the Microsoft XNA 4.0. I had the same problem until I did and now it works great

try updating your direct X. ther eis a trouble shoot within the launcher for most common problems
Are you going to be gradually adding features into the game until its done or are you going to complete an area and move on. Im only asking because if you completed an area (making all the doors work and all the right pokemon spawns) i think if it was done this way it would be more playable for some at least a little while and it would create less work later. Its kinda like you mum saying do your homework now and play later. Anyway take my advice or not i love the idea of this game and although the game isnt near done i love how your going with the progress of it. Keep up the good work :D.

Hello! I'm having trouble with the game. It wont let me play and when I click the "Update latest version" it really doesn't do anything. I even downloaded the Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0, but it isn't working :/ I'm a bit bad what comes to this kind of problems (And I'm sorry if I type horrible English here, not my native language)
Anyone can help me?

A few bugs I've noticed playing the game;
1. When I pick berries they don't appear in my bag
2. Mr. Pokemons Mystery Egg does not appear in my bag
3. When I get back to Elm, he just has the message "I'm depending on you!" Even though I have went to see Mr. Pokemon.
4. Their is no Pokedex option after I see Oak.
