Hey guys, it's been a while since I've last posted an update for the game. There are a number of reasons for this. The main reason though is that for the past while I've been hit by a game developer's version of writer's block. I just simply wasn't getting much inspiration to work on the game or come up with new ideas. So, seeing as I'm not trying to work to a deadline, I decided to leave it sit for a while until the inspiration came back...and it has :).

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've last posted an update for the game. There are a number of reasons for this. The main reason though is that for the past while I've been hit by a game developer's version of writer's block. I just simply wasn't getting much inspiration to work on the game or come up with new ideas. So, seeing as I'm not trying to work to a deadline, I decided to leave it sit for a while until the inspiration came back...and it has :)

During this time I did some thinking and reviewing of what I have done so far, and I came to the conclusion that the game's environment is a bit static, or lacking in features that give it life. So I decided that I'm going to slightly rework some of the levels that are already done to add in some such features. Things like alien creatures/robots that the player must interact with to solve puzzles etc. I think that this will improve the quality of the game a lot, and make it less monotonous.

This will however increase the amount of time I have to spend working on the game but, as I said above, I'm in no rush, and I enjoy it anyway and I think it will be worth it because the final product will result in a nicer experience for the player. And that's what's really important in the end in my opinion ;)

Be well.
Felix.
