The last few weeks have been hectic. The reactions from the people who saw Planet Explorers at GDC have been universally positive. Too positive, in fact. Now we have a lot of pressure to deliver what we've promised, heh.
On the tech front, we've solved several major issues including multimaterial on the voxels, and shadows on the multimaterials. This doesn't sound like much, but it makes a world of difference for the game. We'll put a few new vids up in the next few weeks to showcase it. We've also got most of the server structure setup, which means we could start trying multiplayer soon...hopefully.
On the art front, we've been polishing all the grassland area assets. We've also started the forest area asset creation as well as NPCs (take a look in images). With the NPC models starting to be done, we've been finalizing the early story missions.
