Would be great if you could handle the sf::Event::Closed, so one can easily close the application without having to find the right menu entries.
I agree the beginning could be made a bit easier and the controls don't feel that good at the moment. The max momentum is too fast and the acceleration feels slow, while the jump height is quite low, but maybe that should be all part of the experience?
No use sf :: Event :: Closed, is due to the fact that the application can not ignore some parts of the code where the frees pointers - such programming accuracy - the application can not ended with error code. But I'll think about it.
As for the balance: probably I play in the game so long (you know tests etc) that I stopped noticing problems with balance control. I just got used to it.

The game begins as tedious and a little boring, but ends up being fair and fun as you go, in fact in the version 0.3 has many phases to be the first level.
