Paranormal is finally fully released! Paranormal 1.2.4 contains many bug fixes, as well as a new experimental gameplay mechanic called Stains. Stains are paranormal hotspots that have a small chance to appear throughout the house. Are they dangerous? Only one way to find out. See the changelog below for more details.

WE HAVE A NEW KICKSTARTER FOR PARANORMAL: THE TOWN!
NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO LITERALLY BE PART OF THE GAME!
PARANORMAL: The Town -- Paranormal's first free expansion pack will, in essence, be a sequel to the base game. Since it's pretty much an entirely new game, it will take quite some time to complete. The Kickstarter project will help us raise money for Paranormal: The Town's development. Let's work together and make the most unique and amazing horror experience around!

Thanks for making your game available though the GL bundle.
The game seems ok so far, but I would really advise more subtlety early on. Starting out right away with the dolls, loud noises, and floating objects gets some scares, but it also takes away most of the suspense for later levels. I think the pacing should more reflect the movies that inspired it - Blair Witch and PA both had a lot of setup before the good parts got going.
There are two modes you can pick from when you start the game: Full and quick (abridged and unabridged). The full mode has more of that build up you're looking for :)
I can't seem to open the safe to get the key to the basement. I try interacting with it but nothing comes up... Is it just me or is it a general bug/problem?
I'm sorry for being a noob, but how can I download the Beta version? I want to see if my old piece of junk can play it or not. :/
It should be on IndieDB/ModDB page. Indiedb.com
Thanks for the reply, but I can't find it on the mod page. I searched for 'Paranormal', and six games showed up, none of them yours.
But thanks anyway. :D

Have you or are going to add more resolution options? I really like the game so far but unfortunatly I can't play it much because my laptop can't seem to run it right :L The frame rate is really low and choppy so I dunno if it's my specs or the coding of the game. I don't think it's my computer >.< who knows maybe if a 1366x786 option is available it'll fix all my problems xD
What's your computer's specs? There are some resolution options, and I do plan to add a lot more in the future, along with other graphics settings so the game's visuals and performance can be tweaked more freely by players like you that are facing performance issues. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Don't worry, I'll eventually add in controller support for the menus. (:
