CUSTOMIZE YOUR ARSENAL
-Radically change the effect of your weapons with Paragon Evolved's attachment and upgrade system. Your assault rifle could be flinging grenades or launching rockets at your enemies, and your Anti-Material Rifle may be able to slow down time itself.

It's been a long time since the last update! The principle reason is that there hasn't really been much to show; I've been primarily focusing on level design. However, there have been some gameplay improvements made recently!
First and foremost is the new AI. The old AI was functional, but really not all that great. They only knew two tactics: taking cover, and charging towards the player. They now have several new tools from which they can draw from. The most prominent new addition is the Dash-Dodge mechanic. This is analogous to the player's dodge ability in that the enemy will quickly dart to the left or right in an effort to escape from the player's crosshairs. This has been difficult to balance, as the enemies appear stupid if they don't do it enough, but when they dodge at every opportunity they become annoying to fight. Every enemy also has a thin layer of regenerating shields augmenting their health value. This has two purposes. The shield encourages players to play more aggressively, committing to attacks to eliminate foes before their shields recharge. Second, it gives the player an easy way to judge the enemy's current "mental" state. And enemy with shields will be more aggressive, but an enemy whose shields have been stripped will usually prioritize finding cover over attacking the player.
Furthermore, they now have have such abilities as "hearing gunshots" and "telling their allies that they've just been shot in the face."
One major new addition is completely new sounds for the game's weapons. The weapons now actually sound like they belong in a sci-fi game and not a modern military shooter.
