Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.

Do you think they will finish the game before I die?

Because year after year I feel my old bones ache, a reminder of my time, long time lost.
But this game is still the same, wait, now it has video options.

It feels, like it's 2008 all over again. Bunnies were fatter, grass was greener, gameplay is the same, the eternal aimlessly sandbox.

I feel like you and it feels great. Secretly I hope the game never gets finished because always getting updates and seeing new things just feels good. Well said.

Em that wasn't a complement. That feeling of excitement of what the next update will hold kind of started to wane when we realized that the "major update that changes everything" wasn't coming. There where some small moments of excitement for allowing us to script our own little stories/quests/movies and the occasional sandbox improvments like challenges/arena ect, but I think what people keep waiting for is some kind of campaign, AI that give quests or perhaps a dynamic system that randomly generates quests/encounters.
Maybe a roadmap that tells us what to expect on a yearly basis & what features the final version of the game is expected to have (updating that list occasionally). Otherwise I can't see myself ever getting excited or dishing out cash for it.

Ah yes, I've just read it a little bit too fast, sorry.

These are some good points you're mentioning. You're right with the campaign, I'm also waiting for some kind of this. I really hope there will be a good and hopefully deep story which will introduce the player into this great world, with all it's myths, secrets and characters, side stories and so on. Hopefully there will be a world filled with information similar to games like Fallout 3 where are stories told even without making a quest (for example there is a bunker filled with plungers from all over the world which a weird person has collected). I know that's weird comparison but I hope you understand what I mean.

But I also think that those features just may take some time and honestly I've never see something similar in kinds of community connection and video updates. That explains my excitement above even if I misread the comment above. I understand your criticism and accept your decision but we maybe just have to wait.

Oh yes, I feel like you too. I want to play the beta, but I haven´t money, and I don´t want to play the pirate version because I don´t know if has virus or other things... is like "I want but I can´t"... multiple feelings I have when I see "alpha 200,000 changes", you know.

I was wondering when is done? I think is done, is possible play, I can see videos in youtube and I see some guys are making awesome mods adding bears, birds and other models and cool ideas... damn, why not is free? Yeah, yeah... money... now I feel sad and older too. (- . - )ll

I bought this game on Steam and was dissapointed as ****. If "intricate" melee combat means USE TWO BUTTONS, ONE TO ATTACK, ONE TO BLOCK, YEAH THAT'S SUP{ER ******* INTRICATE.

I REGRET PAYING THIRTY ******* BUCKS TO BUY THIS GAME ON STEAM.

I'd rather of bought marijuana.
