Olvand is a little multiplayer sandbox RPG, where the players live in self-built towns and can go on all kinds of adventures together. Imagine living with your friends in a small town in the mountains, or creating a new group of friends in a pub in the metropole you all live in. There will be several mini-games the inhabitants of a server can play together, among which will be combat based games like King of the Hill or Capture the Flag. You will be able to play against other people in your city, or as a city against another city, or as a whole server against another server. The combat works with self-built guns, in which all kinds of powers can be combined to create unique effects.

Sorry, I forgot to post this here: |

I received a bug upon the first launch of the game, looks similar to Hero's, but different error message. Screenshot: Imageshack.us Nothing showed up in my crashlog.txt about this error, therefore there was nothing to post upon that. I don't know how to fix this bug, but it happens on the start up of the game launching from Desura, and I automatically get that. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed, because I would enjoy writing out a review of it upon being able to play it. Thanks! |

Thanks for this great bug report, Metaloid. I'll look into this, and I'll let you know whether I'm able to fix it. I guess it won't be a problem, but I'm not sure. If you're reading this and have the same problem; Metaloid fixed the problem himself by downloading this: |

I'm not too sure that I should consider this a "bug", but it's definitely worth mentioning. In-game, I cannot use an underscore, only a hyphen. This clearly presents a problem for people like me, who have underscores in their username to log in. Thanks! |

Oh god, this is stupid. I'm sorry Daniel, I'll put this on top of my to-do list, I never though about it! Also, I changed your username to midnight-mission so you can log in! |

Not only ladder, same bug with Axe and Knapsack Also bug. After disconnect, i connected again at the same server and there was another character with my nickname. When i come to it and pressed E a menu appeared. But i can't do a duel or trade with it. Testserver2 Another bug, i moved up, found two olbs, inserted it into gun (into 3rd and 5th slot), then clicked left mouse button and game crashed

Hi there! I think this happened because the items in my... frontpack? (how do you call that?) were too heavy/big for my backpack. Edited by: Caliborn |

Hmm, I thought I solved the problems for those two. I will to look into this.
I guess that Testserver2 allows for duplicates. So if the message 'I logged out' for some reason didn't reach the Testserver, your avatar stays in the world, even if you log in again.
You shouldn't be able to park scooters inside your house... Interesting, I will look into this! And for the crashlog bugs: thanks, also for the description! That's really helpful . |

I went in to the house that was next to me when I logged on (on Testserver2) and pressed e at the chair, the game became non-responsive and had to be closed using task manager. I repeated it to make sure. No error in the crashlog.txt More info: It happens in my own house too. It actually seems to be when you face the wall and press e.... but not when you face the chair and press e |

Excellent bug report. Because of your experimenting, I've been able to reproduce the bug, which means that I'll be able to fix it. Thanks a lot! Edit: fixed in less than 30 seconds. Thanks, will be in the next update! Edited by: Woseseltops |

No problem. I am a software developer myself, so I know how hard it can be to find things with dodgy reports. |

There's a bug in combining items, it's not a huge thing just something to look into If you start combining things and then right click something in your inventory and hit combine it erases all the items in the crafting window Edit: Also if you park your scooter too close to a building it gets stuck (but that's more general stupidity >_<) Edit: Apparently, if you go into a mine through one hole and exit through another your camera becomes fixed where you entered, not where you left, it's not hard to fix you kinda wander about for a little and it's fine, but still, massively inconvenient. Edit: (Getting sick of these yet?) Achievement for winning 5 duels didn't register ;_; (Was on a roll today) And if you overfill a wardrobe in the small house the items become visible OVER your inventory when removing them. Wow thanks a lot! I'm going to try to reproduce all of these errors. If I succeed, I will probably also be able to fix it. Some responses:
No! I can't get enough of these, that's why I'm asking you to test . Nice. I decided to believe you and fix it manually.

every time you use a hat or a headwear when you ride a scooter you lose your stuff ( i did it twice just to check i used different hats) |
||
Aug 25 2013 Anchor | ||
Thanks a lot for your bug report! Good find, indeed if you wear undyed clothes (hats also count) while riding a scooter, the game crashes. Obviously, this bug will be fixed in the next update. Until then, always ride scooters naked or dye your clothes . On top of this all, just before the game crashes it saves that you were riding a bike and wearing undyed clothes, which makes the game crash immediately after you start playing in the same world. Delete the file desura/common/olvand/dat/world/players.txt to make the game forget this (and everything else about you). |

thanks but if you take of your hat you will be able to save some your scooter and your shirt i have tried again and if you use an undyed t-shirt nothing happens |

Okay, maybe it's only the hats, then. Thanks! |
