Network | Fresh new look, unreal engine 4, Q&A, Virtus Studios recruitment

Hi guys, first and foremost I would like to thank you all for checking out the very first of the new Network news posts. The game has undergone a big change which greatly affects the overall image and quality of the game for the better, having said that we really want to showcase that. In today's update we have quite a lot lined up, including an incredibly classified secret, an overview of the game a new Q&A about the game.

New Engine
As mentioned above, Network has recently undergone a gigantic change, the NDA has finally been loosened and we can now proudly let everyone know we have UNREAL ENGINE 4 for quite some time now and are heavily in the process of porting the game over. Now, some of you may be wondering what this will mean for the game.

Unreal Engine 4 is one of the latest and most powerful engines in the industry and most importantly is built around the next generation, having said that Network is being build around the next generation too, allowing us to utilize the engine's many robust tools and further increase our graphics. In addition, over the next few weeks we intend to start releasing screenshots of our content looking all sexy in unreal engine 4!

What is Network?
Network is an up-coming, free-to-play first/third person shooter game developed by Virtus Studios, powered by unreal engine 4 set in its own unique sci-fi world. The game focuses on tight combat, a dense atmosphere and high quality visuals. The game is multiplayer only, meaning maximum quality of the game in that regard delivering pure, unadulterated brilliance. Network has it's own unique class and ranking systems, filled with persistent options to enhance your character with new gear, items and personalization options. Whether playing as the nimble Scout class or the beefy Tank class, Network strives to deliver gameplay and visuals on a level that most free-to-play games simply cannot match.

The engine is absolutely brilliant and is doing so much good for Network. Unreal engine 4 allows us to massively increase the graphical quality of the game and is incredibly easy and more efficient to use.

I can't go into technical details as of right now due to the NDA we signed for epic games, however what I can indeed tell you is that it is leaps ahead of unreal engine 3.

It's built around the next generation and is allowing us to push Network to the limits.

I will be posting some of our in-engine progress soon, stay tuned!
