~ NETHER ~

~ Some information about the game ~

Nether is a first-person, survival-shooter that introduces players to a desolated, sprawling urban cityscape (based loosely on Chicago). Nether features core survival elements, requiring players to scavenge for resources in order to survive as well as crafting. More importantly, Nether brings unique gameplay elements to the genre, and brings the experience to a new level.

The city spans several hundred blocks and players can access most of the buildings, including multi-level skyscrapers that provide huge vantage points. Danger is around every corner, sometimes only a few yards from you, raising tension to a new level.

Nether also presents players with a meld of PvE and PvP that fosters unique, emergent gameplay and forces big decisions when it comes to trusting other players. The enemies, called “Nethers,” are unique and each species possesses both demonic and human qualities, making them fast, smart and hard to kill.

This also factors in when it comes to working together to defend safe zones or clear out structures. Finally, by setting world objectives, Nether adds another dimension to the survival genre, which further sets it apart from other online games.

1. Firearms. Preferably a combination of short, medium, and long range weapons. E.G. Shotguns, carbines, and sniper rifles. Suppressors

2. I would bring a suppressed MK.23 as my sidearm, an AA-12 for short range domination, a suppressed M4 with a C-mag for mid-range, and an SR-25 for long range.

3. There are likely more monsters in the city but also more supplies. However, one can survive off what the wilderness gives you, so I'd stay outside the city.

1. Melee weapons. The best way to eliminate your target without making too much noise.

2. VSS Vintorez because of the integral suppressor. Makarov pistol because of my place of living, which means that I'll be able to find a lot of ammo for it. For the fight that will be head to head I'll take a screwdriver. After all it's the best way to scramble a brain and it's easy to hit with and then pull out.

3. When you think about it, it doesn't matter. The risk is bigger in the city but if you think that it would be safe outside of the cities you are going to be wrong. There will be a moment where all of the supplies will end and people and whatever creatures there may be will leave. This means that they have to either reach another city or they may start taking what they want from the people living in the wilderness.

1. Firearms, most likely a silenced rifle to keep noise to a minimum, though a bayonet would be good as a last resort

2.A semi-auto rifle of some kind, most likely an M14 rifle, not picky about my sidearm so long as I could get a silencer for it, and melee would need to be a blade of some kind, a katana would be awesome, but in reality I'd settle for any kind of knife or blade.

3. I'd say meet in the middle and live on the outskirts of a city, not too far from the city centre but not too far from the countryside areas, then you could get the best of both areas whilst being a relatively safe distance from what'd be expected to be zombie central.

1.Firearms. Put empty cans to the edge of these to get cheap suppressors.

2.A sniper for long range fights and a shotgun for short range fights. I would go with a SKS and a SAIGA 12K.

3.To survive as long as possible it's best to be outside of the city range, eating deers and berries.

#1 Melee weapons, great for taking out enemies silently and not alerting the horde.

#2 One handed axe(tomahawk) when i have to go in quiet, but when the s**t hit the fan and horde is incoming an AK-47.

#3 I'd live in the wilderness because it's less dangerous, but as resources are scarce there, i would occasionally go into town to get what i need.

1. I have to give firearms the edge mostly because of the range that you can take a monster out

2. Assault Rifles any type as long as its a rifleish form

3. to be honest neither is safe so i'd want space but seeing as that's not an option meet in the middle so you aren't that far away from the city but not close enough to any monsters

#1. Firearms. We're not really designed to fight hand to hand with beasts, let alone monsters, so guns give us the edge we need against them. Better to take one or more out at range than fight up close with a risk of getting hurt or killed.

#2. Shotguns. Maybe it's the inner Doom player in me, but they have a good effective range for most engagements you'd have against monsters, and you can use different types of ammunition for different ranges and situations.

#3. Outside the city. You might find more supplies in one, but the risk of detection, let alone danger of decrepit buildings and such is a lot higher than being out in the wilderness. I'd rather take on nature than a city packed full of things that want to kill me.

Question 01: Firearm, better to take some of those slutty demon on range before getting to the melee figth.

Question 02: First i will use my .22 carbine along with my grandad MAC M1950 , then i will move to the Ex-Yugoslavian country and try to scarvenge some Zastava M85 (Carbine version of the M90), and in complement hen axe/shovel.

Question 03: Outside, less monster, more vision of what is around you, less trap, less survivor.

Question 01: Some sort of midrange firearm would be best, especially with a silencer to avoid bringing the monsters to your location due to the noise it makes.

Question 02: I would probably bring an M4A1 assault rifle with a surpressor, as well as a Sig Sauer P226 as a sidearm.

Question 03: Outside, the population of the zombies would be much smaller outside, and even though you'd find less supplies than in a city, you would still be able to find enough.

2.A sniper for long range fights and i would probably bring an M4A1 assault rifle with a surpressor

3.To survive as long as possible it's best to be outside of the city range, scavenging, surviving.

1. Neither. In all situations, avoiding conflict at all times if possible. If a MUST, use some kind of AoE thing like a Flamethrower. More will surely come. Even then, it's still good against one.

2. Something that will do maximum damage possible. Explosives. Shrapnel. Blunderbuss. These are not Zombies, these are tough and abundant monsters. You need to do maximum damage possible in as large of an area as possible.

3. Outside. Anyone smart enough to think this same thing is probably trustworthy or at least neutral. But definitely a closed up forest, to be safe.

Question 1: Firearms if you have a good shot, you would have a better chance with Firearms than a Melee weapon (Unless it is of course a lightsaber or a massive *****).

Question 02: Used Condoms. I will have a bunch of used condoms in a bag whichI chuck at the monsters. Obviously the monster will be disgusted and will say "no."

Question 3: Outside city range, since if anything I have learnt from the Walking dead (Comic, TV show and Game by Telltale) is that Cities don't like survivors It would be filled with Zombies/monsters and its too close quarters. In a country side you have better chance at running since your in the open and I can finally start up my dream job of selling weed in the countryside to near by survivors.

Q1 - I prefer firearms, but in close combat the only firearm I find useable is a shotgun. At the end it all depends on the situation - how many enemies, how many ammo you have of what, etc.
Q2 - I love high cal automatic weapons, but the shotgun is and always will be a big favorite :)
Q3 - Doesn't really matter. As in life - some will find the outskirts as better, some the city and some both. I prefer the city, or as close to it as possible.

1. Any firearms will do, provided it has sufficient firepower. In my preference, I would've used a shotgun since monsters like to get close and personal with their vicious attacks.

2. Personally, I would use a Remington 870 shotgun for primary, a Glock 18 for secondary to compensate for the rate of fire of the shotgun, and a machete to do multiple tasks and as a last-resort melee weapon. These equipment would be the bane of a monster trying to get a touch of me.

3. The city. While there are many threats lurking within the concrete forest, there are more things you can scavenge than the outback, let alone the wilderness. Survivors probably won't cooperate, but why do that when it's every man for himself in this scenario?

Question 01:
Fighting weapons because they can be found in abundance almost anywhere, even if you have to use a fallen tree branch., firearms are unreliable and are completely worthless once you're out of ammo and unlike games, tv and movies you don't just find ammunition all over the place.

Question 02:
For starters Pipes, preferably carbon fibre or aluminium because they are both lightweight and durable not to mention they are not hard to find.
Also a bladed weapon such as a katana, machete or an ice axe, They provide decent melee range while all being durable, light weight and easy to swing.

Question 03: Best location is a small city, there will be an abundance of materials, and potentially an abundance of humans, there is more access to secure places to stay as opposed to outside city range where resources are scarce, you could be no where near other people or shelter if something goes wrong.

City means more monsters, resources and shelter but it also means more people killing the monsters.
Rural means less monsters resources and shelter.
