Who said we have to do it 100% like in realdeal ;) I actualy prefer this fog level more. If only the models would not be highligjted throught the fog liek thermal...
I have quite possibly the most stupid idea, Jukki, you have ever heard in regard to NZ:P, so... try not to laugh.
I noticed the 1.2 alpha release several years ago could use teleporters, (used a modified quake 1 map [dm1] to figure that out.)
Anyways, since then, i have been obsessed with the idea of having all the NZ:P weapons, power ups, perks and misc stuff added into the original quake.
What i am getting at, is would it be to difficult to leave in the original coding and models for the original quake monsters as a sort of easter egg where someone with those maps could play quite possibly the most epic quake ever created?
Just a thought.
well we wouldn't do that to nzp as we're trying to have it be as light as possible, but there's no reason somebody couldn't port the weapons over to original quake post-release ;)
You are aware that would require a source code release, which to date you guys have said 'No,' to... unless there is a buried archive on Google I missed.
Forgot something to ask, or point out-
In the 1.1 Beta you guys made, if you went prone and tried to aim with ANY gun, not just the Kar98k, it would shoot either straight down, or straight up, UNLESS you were looking straight forward. Did that little problem get fixed?
Sound is a bit ****** up, probably due to codec I was using, also keep in mind, recorded on psp emulator.

but it hides half of the environment and makes it hard to see if there are any zombies coming.
will we see a demo soon?????
Near future yes. If we keep up the pace possibly before the summer.
Loving the way NZP is shaping up, Beta 1.1 was great but this looks so much better. Keep up the good work :)
I like how the kar98k acutally looks like a weapon now instead of some mutant minecraft-doom boomstick. I give it a thumbs up, for sure.
That is the whole point why we are redoing all the weapon models ;)

Actualy we have said that we will be releasing the source code of the new version ;)
Well, that will give me a reason to buy another psp. (gave my old one to a kid for a birthday present.)

Yes that problem is now fixed, the guns shoot straight where you are aiming (down) regardless where you aim.
I want to quickscope :3

Wonderful! :3
