Looking great, can't wait to buy, just fix the stiff animations.

But I find the side info wrong. Beta's, alphas, are very common, especially these days, even for Console games. Pretty much every new FPS / RTS I can think of has a beta these days...

Gotta agree with you about the stiff animations, the marines look especially constipated.

Aside from that and needing optimization, which is normal at this stage of development, it looks freakin' awesome!

This was epic! I love everything on it!

Just a quick question, does the game have anything like a "fog"? It would be really great if it had, at least for the RTS guy.

Well, I hope it is; regardless if it's a good game or not, they spent alot of time and money on it, and I hope they make AT LEAST 2.5x what they spent back, to me that is the minimum you need to make for it to be considered a success(Like I said though, that's to me).

Description

Hey everyone, the biggest question for all those who are not already part of the closed beta is "What's the game play like?". Well this game play footage trailer should answer that very question for you.
This is in game footage with real players and you can find a lot more public game play coverage by NS2HD who is some random Australian NS2 fan who decided to make videos covering the development progress of the game, visit his YouTube channel: Youtube.com
He was also heavily involved in putting this trailer together, So thank you Hugh!

NS2 is currently in a closed beta stage but is accessible to pre-orders, there are currently 10,000 closed beta keys up for purchase and we will make it clear when those are close to running out.
This stage of development is something the public would not normally see or even would not know the game even existed (They take years to build and there are titles in production now you don't even know about) as games at this stage of their development has a lot of problems to be ironed out and it's a big risk putting a title out like this in front of the critiques out there but there is no way without the support of our current pre-orders and their understanding could this game have gotten this far and it's because of this funding that this game is developed the way it is intended with out the over seeing eye of a publisher telling us what to do.
Other than funding, the other reason for making this game in the public domain was to gather feedback, there are thousands of system configurations out there and we needed a large amount of feedback in order to get this game running for everyone. In an ideal situation with millions to spend we would build a large variety of test systems but of course there was no way we could do this and so we figured the best way to do this was to get you great supporters with your many machines to help us with that and many of you have understood and done just that! So thank y
