Whether you play as one of the elite marine Frontiersmen or the vicious alien Kharaa, you must use unique strategies and your abilities to win. Marines buy weaponry and form persistent squads to find and destroy alien hives. Aliens can choose a wall-running Skulk, pudgy Gorge, flying Lerk, murderous Fade or gigantic Onos that can devour enemies whole.

Real-time Strategy
New strategy gameplay allows players to Command from overhead. Build structures anywhere, collect resources and research upgrades. The marines can build phase gates, sentry turrets and siege cannons to assault the enemy. Aliens can build upgrade chambers, evolve special abilities, lay eggs and plant traps.

Dynamic Environments
Levels change as you play. Spreading alien infestation deforms hallways and causes space station power failure, halting all lifts. Destroying a catwalk's supports causes it to fall, revealing a new route. Use a flamethrower to clear infestation, spin webs to block a passage or weld a bulkhead shut for a last defense. Every game is different.

Unlimited Variations
Flexible game rules and scripting allow you to create your own unique scenarios like "Colonist Rescue", "Alien vs. Alien" or anything else you can dream up. Free automatic updates keep the game fresh by adding new levels and abilities.

A Gorge made in GorgeCraft

I am so excited to be announce the official release of GorgeCraft. It is 2 years today since the very first prototype build was released on here, and it has been a wonderful experience developing the mod. There have been many changes of direction and some inspiring mistakes, which have made the journey so thoroughly fascinating and enjoyable.

To get the mod, you need to own Natural Selection 2. Once you have that, you can download the files automatically by subscribing to the mod at the steam workshop here.

There is a basic GorgeCraft Guide on the steam workshop as well for new players. It does assume you have some knowledge of playing Natural Selection 2, and how to use the gorge to build things.

Have fun playing GorgeCraft, and remember to submit any of your artistic creations for sharing to the world.

The developers for natural selection hold all rights to this game and engine that they are developing themselves. Valve never bought them out like they did with CS so the team can do whatever the hell they want with it.

WTF!? Why the hell would they need valve permission? its not their game...at all (excpept for the engine) the only real thing they need permission for is making this a standalone game, and probably the production (though it will probably just be ready to buy on steam)

Hell, Valve didnt make Oposing forces at all really, it was Gearbox that did everything, they even made the HD pack for HL, but again, they needed permission to make the game (thats even shorter than most mods) standalone, and plus valve has permission to do what they want with the game, since their the owners really (that means they could add Adrian back! Too bad they wont...*sigh*
